How To Play Three Card Poker

Three Ways To Play. Four Ways To Win.

Three Card Poker is an exciting stud poker game that offers three ways to play and four different ways to win. Players must bet against the dealer, and have the option to bet on the value of their own three-card hand. Bonus payouts may be had for certain hands when wagering against the dealer.

Ante

Player must wager an ante each hand.

Play

After receiving your three cards, you may fold your ante bet or place a play bet equal to your ante to compete against the dealer.

To Win The Ante and Play

The dealer will qualify with a queen high or better. If the dealer does not qualify the play bet will be returned and the ante bet will automatically win even money. If the dealer qualifies, the player’s hand must be of a higher rank in order to win the ante and play bets.

Ante Bonus

If you make the ante and play wagers, you may win a bonus payout even if the dealer doesn’t qualify and even if the dealer’s hand beats your hand.

Pair Plus

Pair Plus is a bonus wager. If your hand contains a pair or better, you win.

Rules of Play

1. To begin each round, players must make their standard wagers and, they may also make the 6 Card Bonus wager.
2. The dealer then follows house procedures for dealing the regular game.
3. Three Card Poker offers an optional 6 Card Bonus Wager.
4. The 6 Card Bonus wager is based on the best 5-card Poker hand that can be made from the six cards dealt to the dealer and player. Thus, each player uses their own 3 cards and combines them with the dealers 3 cards.
5. The player is eligible to win the wager even if they fold their Ante wager. If the player has bet the 6 Card Bonus wager and folds their hand, the dealer will remove the original Three Card Poker wager and place the players cards under the 6 Card Bonus wager. All 6 Card Bonus wagers are resolved at the same time as the Three Card Poker wagers.
6. 6 Card Bonus payouts: If the player’s hand qualifies for 6 Card Bonus payouts, the dealer pays them according to the posted paytable. If the player’s hand doesn’t qualify for payouts, the 6 Card Bonus wager loses. See paytable.

Progressive Wager

1. Three Card Poker Progressive is an optional $5 progressive side bet.
2. The bet considers the best hand possible among each individual player’s cards.
3. Paytable below:

4. Envy Bonus: A player making the progressive side wager also qualifies to win an envy payout. If another player at the table hits a hand associated with an envy pay, all other players who made the progressive side bet win the envy pay. The player hitting the hand receives the normal prize pay only, but does NOT receive the envy pay. Rule of thumb: You can’t win an envy bonus pay from your own hand or the dealer’s hand. Envy Bonuses should only be paid to player’s at the table where the qualifying hand occurred. A player that folds a hand will still qualify for the envy bonus in the event they made a progressive wager.
